What we eat and when we eat it can have a huge impact on your dental health. Limiting the frequency, rather than the quantity of healthy foods, can help decrease the acidity in your mouth, causing tooth re mineralization rather than tooth decay. Drinking water can also help your mouth neutralize between meals. Snacks should be full in protein and fats, while carbs are limited to veggies and fruits which won’t stick to your teeth. These include carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, pepperoni sticks, and nut and sugar free butter alternatives.
