What Are Ceramic Inlays?

When the decay or the fracture of the tooth is too extensive to be restored with the conventional composite tooth coloured filling we choose the inlay which offers the least invasive treatment option and in addition offers more strength for the longevity of the restoration.
The tooth is prepared in such a way that the indirect restoration is done in the laboratory and later cemented on the tooth. In the meantime while the inlay is being fabricated in the lab the cavity is being filled with a temporary material to protect the tooth and the nerve. As materials we use the best quality ceramic or zirconium depending on the situation. The shade shade of the restoration is chosen to blend in with the natural colour of your teeth. Ceramic inlays are biocompatible and safe, strong and highly esthetical. Our kind and experienced Burlington Dentists will help restore your teeth for a beautiful healthy smile.
